A rental pool lets owners place their villa into one professionally managed letting programme instead of renting it out themselves. The operator runs reservations, guest services and maintenance, and income from all participating villas is combined and shared among owners on an agreed basis, so returns track the resort's overall performance rather than one villa's booking luck.
At AZURE Michamvi, all 93 residences are operated this way as part of the hotel, with owners keeping personal use of their villa each year and following performance through the Investor App.

Placing your villa in the pool means it is run the way the rest of the resort is run. The operator handles reservations, rates, guest service and maintenance, and keeps the villa to the same standard as every other residence on the property.

What happens if I want to resell my villa?
Villas in Zanzibar can be resold at any time. Our team can assist with marketing your property to our network of international buyers, ensuring proper exposure and a seamless transfer of the leasehold and rental pool agreements.
Can I use my villa personally?
Yes. Owners may use their villa for up to 14 days each year, subject to the booking conditions set out in the Rental Pool Agreement. When you are not in residence, your villa is operated as part of the hotel inventory.
What is the rental pool program?
At AZURE Michamvi, every villa forms part of a mandatory rental pool and is operated as hotel inventory. The operator manages bookings, marketing, guest stays, and day to day operations. Revenue is shared in accordance with the Rental Pool Agreement.
How many residences are available for purchase?
AZURE Michamvi is a private collection of 93 coastal residences, including overwater, beachfront, and garden villas. Your AZURE consultant can provide current availability and pricing upon request.
When will Azure Michamvi be completed?
Construction completion is currently planned for Q4 2027, with hotel operations planned to commence in Q1 2028. These dates are based on the current programme and will be updated if the programme changes.
What are the taxes and fees when buying property in Zanzibar?
The final purchase amount and any applicable furniture, registration, and legal costs are set out in the Sales Particulars for your selected villa. Your AZURE consultant will take you through each item before reservation.
Can foreigners buy property in Zanzibar?
International purchasers may acquire a residence under the project's title and lease structure, subject to the applicable legal framework. Your AZURE consultant will explain the purchase documents and lease provisions before reservation.
